ANNA HAZARE’S AUGUST KRANTHI-Much has been written, spoken analyzed but the Nationalism!
It is not just corruption that drove millions of Indians to streets and public parks, panning the National Flag all along, praising Annaji, shouting Anna is India; India is Anna. The majority Hindus till then prowling hurt and anger against the communal UPA was once erupt at that opportune moment. They for once wanted to take this communal UPA to task for its utter anti Hindu policies and programs. There were a number of Muslims and Christians too in d swelling crowds in towns and cities across India, but media chose to ignore in a customary manner with a purpose to pin down Anna at an opportune moment.
Predictably Mr Kejriwal and Ms Kiran Bedi could not withstand the secular pressures and blackmail tactics applied by the Congress Party, as they did in the case of Baba Ramdev at the same venue a couple of months ago. So they gave up Bharath Matha and dumped the flex rolled in to the store yard in the back yard to please the communal Bukhari and to prove a point that they too ‘secular’
Imam Bukhari of Juma Masjid New Delhi had then issued an anti national statement dubbing Anna’s movement as anti-Islamic and hence advised Muslims to keep off from it. Predictably our TV Channels chose to ignore his statement leave alone the unthinkable scenario of he been taken to task for his anti national and communal utterances by our Intellectuals who were by then making a bee line before the TV Studios.
Hence it is but for natural Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi’s could not question Bukhari for his utterances instead they made a diplomatic stopover at his Mosque requesting him to make billions of Indian Muslims to be part of this anti-graft movement as if corruption was affecting only Hindus body and soul not of non-Hindus. He send-off the team by waving the communal flag.
Mr Kejriwal ought to have posed a question before the media, if not on the face of Bukhari. Did Anna gave a call only to Hindus, not to Indian’s? or was corruption then affecting the lives and souls of only Hindus but not non-Hindus? If Muslims had volunteered themselves in numbers would team Anna have prevented them to join?
Anna is creating anarchy he was trying to run a parallel Government? Did he try to convene a new parliament in Ramleela ? No he was only forcing an effective anti graft bill in the same Parliament!
Anna is undermining the Democracy? Did he? Did he ever criticize our constitution or our parliamentary system? No!
Anna is leading a movement on the streets? All Revolutions right from Russian one to French one to till our own freedom movement were fought on streets only! Did we fight from our Bed Rooms or Bathrooms?
Anna –this is a middle class myopia-As if the middle class are not part of this country nor this middle class have any right to vote or share its anguish. It was this middle class from
Mumbai, Kerala, Delhi who voted Mr Manmohan to power. It was this middle class who watch Times Now, NDTV etc it was this middle class which read TOI, The Pioneer etc it was this middle class who chat, tweet, write blogs, post comments etc.
Dr MMSingh also repeated the rhetoric that he and his UPA Govt was impeccable for the reason they were chosen by millions of Indians in 2009 mandate, meaning that till their term expires they have a right to loot the nation and hence no one can question them!
The answer is, 2009 election in particular was not a plebiscite on any single question, but it was a general election. In any General Election we vote to a candidate to-do-good for the nation not harm the nation.
When, these questions posed by the media were so simple to answer why no one made an effort to answer them aptly?
In conclusion it was Hindus fault. We believe in too-much secularism giving an opportunity to Muslims and Christians of this country to manifest their communalism as secularism and victimize Hindus for the fault of just being in majority.
Imam Bukharis, foulmouthed spokes persons like Digvijay Singhs, and Manish Tiwari’s may be euphoric for their vote bank politics, but surely Hindus are being united in a big way to show the exit door to these anti-nationals!

How suffering refutes Religion?-“Does He know a mother’s heart?

As this genius Mr Arun Shourie belongs to the Sangh Parivar THE DECCAN CHRONICLE of MJ Akbars did not cover the news of Mr. Arun Shourie’s book release function held at Hyderabad. However The New Indian Express did cover this news. I could not make it due to my pressing pre-occupation. I am writing this short blog after reading a write-up on Mr Arun Shourie and his book “Does He know a mother’s heart” in the Indian Express.

Well to put it in a nutshell Mr Arun Shourie questions the existence of GOD and mindless cultural clichés of Religious beliefs.
At first my heartfelt sincere concern for the mental suffering the author undergoes as his 35 yrs old son suffering from cerebral palsy and his wife suffering from Parkinson’s disease(As per the IE write up) Yes only a Father Knows only a Mother Knows it. It is a mental agony!
Everyone has every right to disown GOD thrash GOD, and simply term the Religion as a Dogma. Sure my attempt here is only to prove the Existence of GOD with rational passion with due diligence to human sufferings.

Pain and Pleasure-Space and Time, where lies the secret of this creation.

Since ages saints and seers have been speculating about the existence of God and distrust cry were aired when suffering shatters the humanity.

After the devastating Tsunami hit our sub continent in 2004, all-encompassing debates and discussions were held all over questioning the existence of God? But I wonder why we start questioning the very existence of GOD only when a tragedy hits the humanity? Why we cry denouncing GOD when we are passing through agony but not thank the same GOD after enjoying a satisfactory SEX? Or a sumptuous meal?

I can answer these inquiries on the same rationale upon which the existence of GOD is questioned.

At first I say with lot of conviction that THERE IS GOD. GOD is the sculptor of this great creation. He is only a creator but not an administrator. This creation is fully guided by Logic. The reasoning what we apply to test the Existence of God , the creation also was created with the same reasoning. This is where generally we fail to catch.

Let me apply this great rational in the following hypothesis.
According to UNICEF report More than half the world’s children are suffering extreme effects of poverty, war and HIV/Aids, denying them a healthy and safe childhood, according to a report published.
This accounts to roughly one billion children? Fine now we straight away catch hold of GOD and question HIM why YOU create US and then make us to SUFFER? REMOVE this suffering? Remove this suffering of children on planet Earth?? WE thunder the GOD.
GOD regretted and promised to remove the sufferings of the CHILDREN. It’s gone!

Next old aged humans too approached GOD and questioned the same rational why only children but not hapless elders? GOD agreed and removed it.

Now both children and elders are happy no sufferings. To his surprise GOD noticed a huge queue in front of HIM. GOD agreed and removed all the sufferings including hunger. “The hunger having gone, GOD felt there is no need to keep intact the Digestive system, the Kidneys, Liver, Pancreas etc all gone, but the Humans cried and requested the GOD to spare SEX.

Now utter confusion among Humans. People deserted cities and villages reached Hill resorts to enjoy LIFE forever as there is no HUNGER now. But to their surprise the resorts were closed, eateries were closed, and almost all business on earth was shut down.
Hunger is the cause of all sufferings (besides Happiness too) When there is no hunger no money is required, when no money is required the whole human establishment is not required. Even SEX is not working without food.

Something very STRANGE situation humans could not understand.
Positive-Negative/Sorrow-Happiness/Good- Bad/ Pain-Pleasure/Angel –Evil are the equilibrium of this great creation of GOD on planet Earth. If we keep applying these rational predicaments it is only going to prove GOD not in contrary. I can vouch for existence of GOD showing the whole creation itself as evidence.

This is what our Hindu thinkers have done in the past in scriptures.
I conclude by posing a puzzle before you.

I asked my sons “Why there is Urinary Bladder in humans”? They laughed saying it is just part of the system nothing special.
I replied NO! It has its importance, it proves there is GOD.

“WOW how a Urinary Bladder can prove the existence of GOD?”
I said YES! Because’ urinary bladder proves the fact that the creation is conspicuous one not an inadvertent occurring.

What?

Yes-imagine in the absence of a Urinary bladder, we humans will be dropping urine every few seconds-imagine can the society created around us, endure then?

Communal Violence Bill 2011 -100% Communal-Hindus are born offenders -

“Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and reparations) Bill 2011-Ms Sonia Gandhi has betrayed large section of Hindus by this act of Divisive politics.
This is probably free Independent India’s first Legislation aimed at defining the majority of this nation i.e Hindus as ‘born offenders’ by virtue of their religion and numerical majority in this country. In every aspect this bill is violating the very basic tenants of our Constitution, the equality, freedom and what not? The definition and purpose of this bill is bit by bit drafted floating in illusion and unmindful of the Constitution of India.

This bill has also divided Hindus and created a new minority religion for SC and ST members This is a grave situation for Hindus and India. If this bill is through and become a Law it is going to create sever disparity among Indians.
As others dwelled in detail in to the proposed bill section by section till end, suffice if we stop and stare at section 3 definitions. Generally in any Act section one provides the title, Section 2 the definitions and Section 3 the scope or charge of the Act. However in this draft bill Section 3 provides the definitions.
Now let’s go in to certain main definitions which are unashamedly defined the Minorities as Victims and by the way leaving the majority of this country HINDUS as deemed offenders or rather born killers. Matter would not end here. This bill coins a new definition for minority which includes Muslims, Christians and Scheduled Castes of Hindus and also other Hindus if they are happened to be a linguistic minority in any region of India. Situation is by now getting murkier. Let me explain in detail.
My effort is to expanse the replication of this act with illustrations. This bill is drafted in such haste and hatred towards our own country’s majority community by none other than the most revered leader of India Ms Sonia Gandhi aided by resentful Mr John Dayal
A simple reading of the tile of the act ‘Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and reparations)’ plainly imply that this Law is for Indians and by the Indians. In no way it is suggestive of exclusively for protecting Minorities of India. But in reality it is meant to serve and protect the Linguistic and Religious Minorities alone. Let me explain in an illustrious way how this draft Bill not only partisan in its objective, but also ruthless towards its own majority citizens the HINDUS.
The very panel who has drafted this bill at the face of it is liable for prosecution under the existing IPC for defaming the large section of this country by dividing the people of India in to offensive group (Upper Caste Hindus) and victim groups (non-upper caste Hindus and other non-Hindus) in a pre-determined deemed manner.
Let’s see the offending definitions.
Section 3 (e)“group” means a religious or linguistic minority, in any State in the Union of India, or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes within the meaning of clauses (24) and (25) of Article 366 of the Constitution of India;
View: The above definition is obviously excluding the vast majority of upper caste Hindus. Why I say Upper Caste Hindus because for the reason SC and ST are also recognized as a Group as above. This would mean SC or ST citizens who are not converted to any other religion but remain in Hindu fold are now to be treated as non-Hindus in terms of the above definition for the purpose of this act. Also the fate of SC or ST converts is not clear as in the following illustrations more intriguing facts would emerge.
Section 3 (j) “victim” means any person belonging to a group as defined under this Act, who has suffered physical, mental, psychological or monetary harm or harm to his or her property as a result of the commission of any offence under this Act, and includes his or her relatives, legal guardian and legal heirs, wherever appropriate;
View: Probably first of its kind in the record of Mankind a victim has been pre delineated. Generally a victim is identified after the riots. However the situation is piquant here. Well before the riot the victim and the offenders are branded so by the legislation. The only point would be, to wait till riots are over to punish HINDUS and rehabilitate the minorities irrespective of the sufferings, causalities and the instigators of the riot.
Section 3 (c) “communal and targeted violence” means and includes any act or series of acts, whether spontaneous or planned, resulting in injury or harm to the person and or property, knowingly directed against any person by virtue of his or her membership of any group, which destroys the secular fabric of the nation;
This is much contentious definition. A plain reading imply that if Upper Caste Hindus attacks the defined minorities such offenders are punishable and such violence is defined as so. However in a situation where the members belonging to the so called Groups attacks the Upper Caste Hindus then such persons belong to such groups are not punishable at all.
Nowhere in the draft is the Majority Community or Hindus defined. By definition in the process of defining the groups and minorities it is implied that the offenders are upper caste Hindus.
Now let’s examine the following illustrations by which the hollowness of the draft bill is potently exposed.
1. If targeted violence is aimed at SC ST Members of Hindu Community by any other Group?: In a situation where the SC ST members are targeted by a group for example ‘Muslims’ then the victims cannot be protected or rehabilitated or reparation be granted as the offenders too belong to the defined group. In such a situation in order to protect the victims, the offenders belong to another similar group cannot be punished under this bill as the very purpose is defeated.
2. If targeted violence is aimed at religious minorities by SC ST Members of Hindu Community? The situation is similar to as above 1.

3. If targeted violence is aimed at upper caste Hindus either by SC ST members or religious minorities the offenders cannot be punished under this act
4. If targeted violence is aimed at SC ST or Religious minorities by upper caste Hindus, it is offence under this act-The upper caste Hindus are liable for punishment
5. Clash among religious minorities: In this situation where Shea and Sunni community members clash among themselves none of the group will get any protection under this bill nor any group will be punished for the offence as both belong to minority group. In this the Victims may get compensation but the perpetrator cannot be punished.
6. Targeted violence against Linguistic minorities by religious minority group: In this situation who will be the victim? According to this act both the communities are minority in its respective definitions. If Hindi speaking Biharis are targeted in Bhivandi by Muslim groups who is the offender and who is the victim?
7. As a result of these complex scenario upper caste Hindus will be the worst hit. However under one situation the upper caste Hindus can be defined as Victim if they are happened to be a linguistic minority in a neighboring state, that too, in a situation where they are targeted by local upper caste Hindus.
8. An another worry some situation is when a linguistic minority also happens to be a religious minority (Andhra Muslim who speak only Telugu) in Bhivandi if targeted by local Muslims, who is the victim?
9. In this manner a can draw another 8 permutation of groups of India, for which the bill has no answer.
If this bill were to be in force during Godhra incident time, the Hindu victims who were burnt alive in the coach set on fire will not be termed as victims, but the lone Muslim girl who was reported to be abducted in the train would be. Similarly in the aftermath of violence that took place in Gujarath all Muslims who suffered will be Victims BUT not Hindus.
Mrs. Sonia Gandhi being an Indian born and brought up as a Hindu at this age of 57 yrs I myself not fully aware of my own country in which, who is a minority or majority in terms of the existing Constitution you have brought this complex bill with ill intension teaming with Mr. John Dayal only to complex the situation further.

Anna Hazare a victory hijacked from Baba Ramdev?

Sri Kisan Bapat Baburao Hazare’s life is suggestive of Great Rishi Valmiki of Ramayana epic. Anna an ex-army man, a flower vendor in Dadar Mumbai and once a street ruffian involved in several brawls became a staunch Gandhian in his later ages.
Many mainstream media editors have questioned the ability of Sri Anna Hazare and expressed their apprehensions whether such Gandhigiri will work for India in 2011?

But Anna proved the detractors wrong. It worked beyond expectations and gratification. The stubborn Government finally caved in and issued the notification.

Gandhigiri proved a grand success with in just 90 hrs of Anna’s fasting. The Congress at centre tested its litmus paper during the first 3 days and even tested the charisma of Sonia Gandhi but nothing worked. Sonia’s allurement was pathetically failed before the obstinate Anna for the simple reason that Anna does not belong to the slavish congress clan. When the second appeal from Amma too went unheeded by Anna, the real tremors felt in Congress camp. Finally the dictum came from Amma, and UPA conceded to Anna come what may, whether the prestige of the ruling clan or Ms Sonia Gandhi?

Thousands of Educated elite joined the movement? The movement did not confine to Delhi alone, but spread fast across India’s other metros and even towns too. Is corruption alone motivated the people to support the movement? Is it all really a fight against corruption alone?

To put it precisely the answer is NO. Millions of young Indians were just waiting for an opportunity to expose the UPA’s authoritarian rule.

The recent repeated utterances of Sri Digvijay Singh, Sri Chidambaram and Sri Rahul Gandhi on Saffron Terror, Hindu Terror etc have caused much heartburn among millions of docile Hindus. Their silent anger now penetrated in to Anna’s movement. It is evident from the fact that ‘vande mataram’ was sung, slogans like ‘Jai BharathMataki’ charged the atmosphere, and placards, banners of Bharath Mata and Indian National Flags adored the backdrop.

Thousands of Nationalists took part in the movement. Not just corruption but it was a fight against the authoritarian Congress Party, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Dr MMS too.

If we compare this movement with that of mass protest of Mumbai in the after math of 26/11 that took place in Mumbai, post 26/11 gathering was a kind of simulated one articulated by a section of the media not sincerely against the terror, rather to protect the UPA and SONIA’s image. Anna Hazare’s fast was simply in converse. It was launched by a genuine Gandhian for a sincere social cause. Mass supported in millions and the outcome was a huge warning to the tainted politicians.

Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev were working together and sharing common platform since couple of years in the fight against corruption. There is no denying the fact.

Since Baba Ramdev contemplating to float a political party Anna Hazare might have distanced from Baba Ramdevji. Otherwise there was no rift between them.

Baba Ramdev was an antagonistic figure for the pro congress Media. Hence it is natural his movement was blocked by the media and Baba was subject to humiliation at the hands of Congress Leaders. He was even called INDIAN DOG by a NE Indian Congress MP. Hence it was unlikely Baba Ramdev would have succeeded in the way Anna Hazare did, if Baba had undertaken such a ‘fast un to death’

Media played a proactive role

Only Times Now can take credit. None else. The rest, followed suite in inevitable circumstances. It was like a rat race. Any laxity on the party of any media, they are dead and out in no time.

But for a few TV News Channels the movement would not have spread across India.

People should realize that UPA is simply perilous to INDIA

Not just corruption, beyond the whirlpool of corruption, there is deeper avalanche swirling our Democracy.

The suspicious death of Mr Batcha a close aide of Mr Raja, and another distant relative is causing concern for Indians.

No way Anna can carry on this movement without a political party participation in it

By all indications Ms Jayalalitha is going to capture power in Tamil Nadu in the coming by elections. The message is clear and loud. They are going to chose a lesser devil, a lesser corrupt. Why not this principle be applicable for BJP too? By all means by heart BJP is less corrupt more nationalistic in its ideology than Congress. The magnitude of corruption in the present UPA Govt is of no comparison. It is but for natural our pro Sonia media will not buy this theory for sure. But it is a simple truth.

One thing Annaji should realize. A non-political movement can only stir masses and take them to the pond. It’s finally the Ministers in a ruling party cabinet has to implement the laws for the good of the people. Minister’s means after all politicians.

Hence Annaji , you cannot dream of installing a clean Government at the centre without being a politician first. Hence you have only two options. Align with a less corrupt BJP keeping in view the national issues at large, or join with Baba Ramdev’s Party.

There is no middle path!

Indian Victory bitter and sweet

 

Perhaps the WC win is the happiest moment for Indians in the post Independent India more than our victory against Pakistan in 1975 war. As someone correctly pointed out we do not love cricket but we love India. Cricket is the only avenue to vent our happiness and it is the opportune moment to manifest our glory. As being the only Democracy on planet earth with a rich cultural heritage of more than 5000 yrs of sustained inheritance, we cherish cricket to satiate our self-glory in every victory of INDIAN TEAM.
After 1975 Bangladesh war we never fought with any enemy except during the Kargil War. The Kargil victory was rundown by our secular media for the fear of Mr Vajpayee flying high; then the World Cup event is the only opportunity came in their way to unite themselves on one platform for celebration that sans any controversy.

It is pretty clear now the accusation of Indian Muslims pro Pak stance during any Indo Pak matches that we witness often is seldom visible now. In the semi final match of the clash of the titans at Mohali, every Indian including Indian Muslims cheered for India without an iota of doubt. The bad sate of present Pakistan, the political events that took place in the past decade, the clear evidence of Pak’s involvement in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, and match fixing charges against Pak Players might have greatly impacted Indians for this shift in attitude.

The great celebration of our victory is however marred with certain unpleasant events. The first one is the toss controversy. It was evident that Mr. Sangakkara plainly cheated our captain Dhoni. Mr. Dhoni ought to have contested with Mr. Ravi Sastry for his uncalled for interference and suggestion for re-toss. Both Mr. Dhoni and Mr. Ravi Sashtry have showed the usual Indian docile attitude.
Surprise was waiting. After the victory Mr. Dhoni vanished from the scene, but the cup was hijacked by Mr. Sachin. Thereafter all the photographs and videos shows Mr. Sachin in the middle of the crowd with the World Cup in his hand held high giving an impression Mr. Sachin was the captain. Later he posed kissing the cup with his daughter and son. One wonder where were the other Hero’s vanished then?
By then we totally forgot Mr. Sehwag, Mr. Munaff and Mr. Zahir who crafted Indian Victory till the final shot of the final ball. However the visionary Mr. Narendra Modi has promised to pay his gratitude on behalf of India, for this great bowler’s duo for their contribution to the world cup victory.

A lesson or two needs to be learnt by Indians in any sphere, be it sports, and be it an International event.

We Indians should shun inferiority complex, but for this, WE are SUPER POWER for ever.

Mr Jaitley’s remarks on “Hindu Nationalism” an opportunistic tool for Congress?

Mr Jaitley’s remarks  on “Hindu Nationalism” an opportunistic tool for Congress?

The Hindu dt 26th March 2011 flashed yet another sensational wiki leaks on its front page this time it was on Mr Jaitleys remarks to Robert Blake the Charge at the US Embassy at Delhi in 2005, saying that “Hindu Nationalism” of BJP was “opportunistic”

Predictably this leak has come handy for the waiting Congress and Mr. Kapil Sibal took this ‘opportunistic cable’ to its advantage and slammed Mr Jaitley of double talk. He further demanded that Mr Jaitley be sacked from the Party on this account alone as he mislead the ‘people’

Mr Jaitley reacted to the cable saying that he never used the word “opportunistic” and he was in that context misquoted.

Fine let us take a look in to the original cable lines on this matter.

Going by the exact text of the Cable No 32279 dated 10th May 2005 and followed by the report on THE HINDU , it is clear that Mr. Jaitley never  used the word ‘opportunistic’ but the THE HINDU reporter ‘s own remarks and Mr. Blake’s own observation  messed up the whole message in the melee.  But surely it ought not to have confused the professional reporters of other News Channels and portals unless it was purposeful.

The THE HINDU report opens with the reporters own version saying “In a private conversation with American diplomats in May 2005, senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley articulated the view that Hindu nationalism was an opportunistic issue for the party.

Mr. Arun Jaitley’s exact verbatim as per Cable No 32279 reads as “In India’s north east for instance, Hindutva plays well because of public anxiety about illegal migration of Muslims from Bangladesh. With the recent improvement of Indo-Pak relations, he added, Hindu nationalism is now less resonant in New Delhi, but that could change with another cross border terrorist attack, for instance on the Indian Parliament”.

This is what exactly the content of the cable No 32279 so far it relates to the topic of BJP’s Hindutva plank was concerned.  Nothing more, nothing less. However the dent occurred in the following paragraph of the report of Mr. Suresh Nambiar of The Hindu.

THE HINDU reporter writes further as ‘on the basis of these remarks on Hindutva made by Mr. Jaitley the diplomat concluded that ‘his (Mr. Jaitely) credentials with the Sangh Parivar are weak, and he may not have what it takes to mobilize the BJP base”

This is all what THE HINDU reported on the front Page on 26th March 2011 so far as the ‘Hindutva’ issue was concerned.

At the outset Mr. Jaitley did mention “Hindu Nationalism” but not “Hindutva”

Secondly Mr. Jaitley never used the word ‘opportunistic’ (refer the text of the cable above)

The word ‘opportunistic’ was coined by Mr. Blake while commenting on Mr. Jaitleys observation and it was never used by Mr. Jaitley. Further Mr. Jaitley has confined his observation with the undertone that in North East India and Kashmir the BJP had an opportunity for  ‘Hindu Nationalism’ but he never said in a manner to mean that “Hindutva was an ‘opportunistic feature’ for the BJP party  in general.

 

Apart from diverse interpretation of the cable language, in any conversation, any learned leader would not use the word ‘opportunistic’ while commenting on his own party.  For that matter the word ‘Opportunistic’ will not be used normally during any chat by any person well versed in English conversation, as ‘opportunistic’ is not a phrase generally used in casual conversations. The word ‘opportunistic’ is a phrase generally used in analytical or critical reports. Hence Mr. Blake has written his comments on the gist of what Mr. Jaitley’s said.

Obviously ‘Opportunistic’ is different from ‘Opportunity’.

Opportunity would mean an occasion or a chance. This is what Mr. Jaitley said that the party had an opportunity for make use of ‘Hindu Nationalism’ in NE and Kashmir rather than in other parts of INDIA at that pertinent point of time.  Hence making use of Hindu Nationalism occasionally would not mean that the party has compromised with Hindu Nationalism in general.

History is always full of hoaxes. We are well aware, the Kings and Emperors of yesteryears misused their power, recruited scholars and poets, had their own biography written in wax lyrical sonnets, in full praise and adulation of the KINGS. That was the gratification, and pseudo-esteem, they wished to achieve and succeeded too. That was autocracy and no democracy. But tragedy is in our Democracy too, we have our Prime Ministers and Party Presidents belonging to that genre, who enjoy such worship and sycophancy in blatant defiance of principles of Democracy and the rule book.

Though such sycophancy is not in our Book of Democracy, the present day leaders like Mayawathi and Karunanidhis have erected statutes of theirs at the cost of ex-chequers money, and enjoying the cardinal gratification every day when their facsimile is being worshipped by gullibles in Marina Beach and Public Gardens.

In our Democracy, CBI, Income Tax and IB have always comes handy for such covetous rulers. Unfortunately the latest weapon added to this armory is the MEDIA. Today the paid MEDIA has taken the pride place of the butler’s of the yester years and awfully reduced the status of Journalism.

Ever since UPA II, was installed at Delhi throne with an overwhelming moral majority, we could see a sea of change in our media reportage and its impact on the psyche of the gullible Indians. The entire media is now ga ga over Sonia come what may, face what may, slurry of scandals, corruption, misuse of power of democracy, misuse of CBI, IT, IB, President, Election Commission, elections, EVM’s, and handpicked Governor’s acting in a shameful manner as if Sonia has vowed to remove all the BJP Government’s in a demonic way.

Sonia Gandhi’s image is protected and preserved, despite undeniable evidence of the UPA’s complicity in each and every scandal that is rocking the nation, corruption allegations that is rattling the nation, misuse of CBI that is hurting every Indian. Despite all these commotion, there still an eerie silence prevailing in the Nation. It is because the Media is playing a filthy role dubious in intention and ganged itself against the nation, despite unbearable corruption, red tape-ism, misuse of CBI, IT etc,

Ms Sonia Gandhi did not enter politics to save this country from tyranny or so, but only to satiate her ego coupled with a hidden agenda of personal retribution. Because it was SHE all the while was at the receiving end of BJP’s slur campaign in 2004 General Elections and hence SHE is now ruling this country with impunity.

Ms Sonia Gandhi has a clear agenda. Keep defaming the main and powerful party the BJP and also The Hindus, and their sentiments.

It is understandable that she in her younger age lived with her mother in law, her hubby and two kids, probably watched keenly every movement and utterances of Mrs Indira Gandhi, and got mesmerized by her wielding power, her authority, and autocracy. The emergency and its aftermath finally might have impacted Sonia in a great way. I suspect that Ms Sonia Gandhi is slowly moving towards this direction.

Mrs Indira Gandhi was the most harassed PM of India by the Media then. The second in the list comes Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

In the case of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, it was the Media that won her the power by series of manipulations of news and events before Elections, coupled with propagating sycophancy. In her case media became a darling of Sonia, Sonia become a darling of the media, and the BJP has remained forever the villain of this country.

Media print and as well Electronic, have formed a coterie and commenced its good work. Only bad news from BJP States and good news from Congress States. This was achieved by dubious means. Money is pumped in crores, tax soaps were extended, and a year’s wait might fetch a Padma Award for excellence in Journalism. Can any one stop this corruption? The money and medals are irresistible for any humans. After all media persons are no exception to this pleasant natural instinct.

So, what Mrs Indira Gandhi or Mr. PVN Rao could not achieve with corruption and money bags then, the present UPA Government is succeeding.

Media is indispensable in our modern society. If a great celebrity dies in Delhi, I sitting in south India would come to know of the news only through either rediff, or Times Now or HT. So I should believe the media. There is no way we can suspect it, and travel all the way to Delhi to the residence of the demised person for confirmation. That is the indispensable status of the media. Hence if media vouch for uprightness of UPA or Sonia I should believe it, and repeatedly exposes BJP, for all wrong reasons I should believe it.

My suspicion started blossoming now. Kick the ass of a BJP CM through the planted Governor at the opportune moment. That’s what we are now witnessing. A home Minister of a state Government Gujarath is rotting behind bars for his alleged role in a fake encounter.

Another Home Minister of a CONGRESS STATE , AP, is enjoying free and fresh air in Star Hotels, and in his star mansion, having committed the same grave crime of bumping two youths in a fake encounter, the suspects of a acid attack case in Warangal under the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s regime.

Corruption, Crime, mayhem , public loot of Public Money, are all safely protected by the UPA Government at the centre provided the perpetrators belong to the Gandhian Party i.e the CONGRESS PARTY under the ace leadership of Ms Sonia Gandhi. They are assured of safe passage till their death or till the UPA rule at centre lasts whichever is early.

Not a single Editor of our leading National Dailies, has ever criticized Ms Sonia or Dr MMS even once for the rampant corruption, mishandling of Naxals, failure to stop the Maoists killings, CWC mess, Spectrum loot, blatant misuse of CBI and IT, in the past 6 years? why?

We are now heading for an Emergency. Political climate does not warrant it, and UPA does not have the required majority for it, true but slowly we are heading for it., for the inner pleasure of the tyrant. The powers of an autocrat is more gratifying than the powers of a PM or King Maker behind the curtains under the shadow of a constitution.

At the outset the timing of publishing your fabricated research paper just a day before the final awarding of punishment to the convicts in the Godhra Conspiracy case, is ill intent.

After a careful reading of this false investigative report, one can easily conclude that your attempt was to phoo phoo the theory of “conspiracy” but to settle for the theory of provoked mob frenzy rather than ‘hatching a pre planned conspiracy’.  Wonder, you have referred Justice Banerjee Report but did not comment on it either supporting it or denouncing  it.

Where exactly you have failed ? You trapped yourself in the melee.

The article itself is full of holes exposing your sham of fabrication from first line to last one, from one para to another. My endeavor is to bring the ‘Tehelka Conspiracy’ to fore.

One good thing your article has exposed. You have unmindfully described the insensible account of the whole community, their living standards, their contempt with the majority community and the populace direct connection with Pakistan, and all you have put it  in a platter.

The fact was: A thousand strong Muslim mob has burnt the coach S-9 with petrol killing 59 innocent Hindus, woman and children is indisputable fact.

To counter the truth two theories were manufactured and distributed by Pseudo secular Media in order to bail out the criminals.

1.      The incident was a pure accident in which no Muslim was involved. Some inflammable material was caught fire accidentally in the coach which burnt the coach and killed 59 Hindus.

2.      In order to overcome the sham of the above accident theory, another ‘justification’ was  floated for the burning of the coach. In this theory the media has indirectly implied that ‘the coach might have been burnt by Muslim mob, but only after repeated provocation by the Kar Sevaks at Godhra Station. It again imply that the media justified the killing of innocent Hindus by Muslim mob as legal, proper for the reason the Muslims were provoked.

In this article you have failed to establish any one of the above. Throughout, you efforts were to prove that it was an accident. The wonder is if it so, why you were harping on ‘provocation angle? You repeated and timed the so called provocation in to, THE FIRST PROVOCATION and SECOND PROVOCATION.  In an accident provocation has no role to play.

Where is the question of provocation in a theory of ‘accident?  Neither you were able to prove the accident theory, nor disapprove the conspiracy theory. In conclusion you have acknowledged that it was certainly a mob frenzy enacted by the local Muslims.

Ø  You have claimed that the witness who deposed in favor of conspiracy theory was coerced and who deposed in favor of Two Secular theories were genuine.

Ø  You have stated the arrival of the train at 7:43 AM. To my knowledge in 2002 in a remote RS no electronic devise could have been in place, to record the timing in exact minutes like a stop watch. You yourself concurred in the preceding Para, that the train arrival time was recorded manually.

Ø  In another Para you stated that the train reached at 07:43 AM

Ø  In Barias statement the stone pelting stared at 07:15 AM How come? read further.

Ø  You have concluded on your own in a  subsequent Para of the article that “It was this aborted abduction of Sophia that aggravated the situation. By this you have concluded the fact that it was a thousand strong Muslim mobs that burnt the coach in retaliation of the provocation of Hindu Karsevaks.

Ø  You have stated that the train was supposed to halt at Godhra station  5 minutes. Going by your time of arrival of the train as 07:43 AM the departure time would be 07:48 AM. But you have specified the time of departure as 07:45 am that is a halt of just 120 seconds. Wonder is within 60 (of 120) seconds of the halt, all the atrocities that is reported to have been taken place, like altercation with Muslim tea vendor, abduction attempt of a Muslim Girl, and all the skirmishes that took place between the Karsevaks and Muslim vendors  on the platform.

Ø  How such a rumor could possibly be spread within 60 seconds, and a mob of over thousand people could able to gather before coach S 6, shouting for the release of the Muslim Girls inside the coach,(S-6) unless and until it was a pre- planned conspiracy.  Simultaneously the reported skirmishes at the same platform was taking place all over the  length of the platform, all within that 60 seconds? Is it believable?

Ø  Another shocker is, a commonsense point of view. If the  gathered Muslim mob were really convinced  that the two Muslim Girls were inside the same coach S 6, why they tried to burn the same coach at first place, in which case obviously the Muslim Girls too would have been burnt along with Karsevakas Any thought on this angle ?

If you defend yourself on the same ground that it would not have been the gathered Muslim mob, that would have burnt the coach, then I wonder, either the very ‘abduction theory’ itself is fabricated to justify the burning of the coach or the provocation theory is redundant. I do not want to explain more here and I leave to the readers.

Ø  Further you stated that after the failed abduction of the Muslim Girl, that rumors started spreading in Godhra that more Muslim Girls were abducted. So even spreading of rumors, gathering of the mob of over one thousand before S-6, all  happened within 60 seconds?

Ø  The Second Halt was at 8 AM so what happened between 7:47 am to 8:00 am (13 minutes) No incidents. The time took for restoration of Journey.

Ø  In the subsequent paragraphs of the article above, you have well described the events (as Mr Meena’s testimony) that how the Muslim crowd chased the train after its second departure at 8 am. From your own narration that it was all the way the Muslim mob that chased the train, keeps pelting stones on S-6 and followed it till it was set on fire.

Ø  The driver testified that coach S 6 separated by 8-10 coaches and hence the conspirators might have planned at the Plat Form itself. They probably pulled the chain twice to gain time to move further the stored petrol? And as they never anticipated the skirmishes to consume more time?

Ø  In the opening paras you said it was petrol, later you said it was kerosene? Why this contradiction? Don’t you know the difference between the two?

Ø  In Beheras confession he stated that he came out of the Guest House at 7:15 AM he saw the hawker Mr. Mahboob Latika came running and informed that some hawkers pelting stone on S-6 Coach. According to you, the train itself arrived at only at 07:45 am (scheduled arrival was at 02:55 am )

Can  you answer the above inaccuracy in your report?

Conclusion

You are only rebuffing the conspiracy theory, but in other way, the manner you have presented the sequences of the events etc  suggests you are;

1.       Not denying the fact that it was all along the Muslim mob that torched the coach as a result of ‘provocation not part of a ‘conspiracy’

2.      Not denying the very fact that the coach S-6 was burnt and 59 innocent Hindu woman and children were burnt to death.

3 Not supporting the accident theory fabricated by Justice Banerjee.

Over all, you ran your story on two parallel tracks.

On the one track you have narrated the events of teasing, ragging, bullying of Muslim vendors and finally kidnapping of a couple of Muslim girls by karsevaks, and subsequent gathering of local Muslims in hundreds from surrounding Godhra, chasing the train, targeting coach S6 upto Cabin A.

On the other track you ran the story of rivalry between BJP, Muslim and Congress men, which lead to the hatching of conspiracy by the 9 BJP men implying that they grabbed the opportunity to take revenge on Muslim corpora tars.  While naming the Muslim accused, you have addressed them as ‘respectable’ citizens of Godhra, but while addressing the BJP men you were silent on their social status.

You have brought both the narration up to S-6 coach at cabin A and maliciously ended the story, without concluding or committing yourself, that the coach was burnt by the gathered Muslim mob. So cunning.

Regardless of conspiracy theory, your investigation saw eye to eye the following facts.

1.      There was a thousand strong Muslim mob at the site at the time of burning the coach

2.      Coach S 6 was fully packed with kar sevaks.

3.      The windows and doors were shut after the second departure of the Sabarmathi Express.

4.      The coach in fact was burnt along with hundreds of karsevaks in it.

5.      59 Hindus including woman and children charred bodies were recovered from the coach.

What you did not commit yourself is;

The coach was burnt by the gathered Muslims at the site.

What you imply is

the coach caught fire accidentally from inside while the coach was surrounded by one thoushand violent  Muslim mob ready to attack the coach;

What I wonder from your own account is the following:

1. If it was a sudden provocation how a thousand strong Muslims could able to mobilize themselves with in a short time of 60 seconds? unless they were gathered  outside the station well before zero hrs waiting for the train to arrive at 2:55 am in the early hours? (scheduled arrival of the train).

2. Bahera confessed that on the fateful day morning at 7 am, he came out of the Guest House after watching the TV. Why Bahera was in the Guest House at early hours of that fateful day? unless he stayed in the guest house from previous night at least? why then he was watching TV at that early hour? for what news?

When a conspiracy to kill en-mass people with out any provocation, they need an ‘excuse’. From this angle it could be possible that a few of them from the mob might have deliberately provoked the karsevaks for an excuse to execute the crime. This view strengthens from the fact that it was never recorded who provoked who at the first place, but it is suffice to point the fingers on the USUAL SUSPECTS i.e Hindus FOR BEING IN MAJORITY and also the fact that  such a grave crime would not have taken place with in 60 seconds.

Dear Tehelka in your zeal to protect our own Indian criminals, burying the truth and blaming the other Indians the victims, who are un-fortunately belong to the Majority community, causing irreparable damage to our Country. Your imprudent fabrication of this article would mark an indelible awful impression in Indian Journalism and would fuel more heart burns among both the communities.

Ever since I got my consciousness I found my self a Hindu like millions of other Hindus.  My family, my house ambiance, relatives, family functions, religious ceremonies, the environs around me, the temple we go regularly provided me the opportunity to learn what  is all Hindu about.  However my early schooling remained a heart burn for me. It gave me such a pain at a very young age which now slowly overlooking it, in the backdrop of a prudent approach to life.

My Grand Ma and my Mom shaped me more than the school. We belong to the typical middle class family. A Hindu, despite his persuasive surroundings, will start probing his religion, questions the rituals, Gods, Goddesses, and what not? However for most of these probing questions we get answers, but the age was not mature enough to assimilate the answers. The qualms would remain for the next few years till we reach an age of mellowness.  Once, along the growing age, if we are fortunate enough to acquire cogent thinking we would end up in valuing  the great canons of Hinduism, its concept behind worship of every living creature, rivers, trees, flora and fauna, snakes, rodents and what not? Or else, we end up sadly, self depreciating self biters.

The absence of a single holy book provided great scope for growing Hindus for his open-minded and secular outlook with an inbuilt spiritualism. Otherwise the single point orientation would have programmed our brains in a reserved direction.

Despite this Hindu upbringing which is almost similar in every Hindu family, majority in their adulthood turned out to be neutral or just religious, or rationalist, communists, atheists, but rarely a religious bigot.

Now a Hindu accepts the whole universe is manifestation of GOD. In other sense it is nothing but ADVAITA. To put it precisely GOD is nowhere else, but the entire creation it self is GOD.  That’s what science has proved now –the big bang! Our puranic story “the churning of milky ocean” is the big bang theory told symbolically. This concept ingrained in Hindus allows him/her to visit a Church, a Dargah, or a Gurudwara besides innumerable temples. But he least expects that he/she be forced to convert to other faiths by coercion, sentiment or by allurement.

For this reason alone in general a Hindu will not rage in anger against the insults heaped out on Hindu Gods and Goddesses by the pseudo intellectuals, pseudo artists, and pseudo secular media. In a way GODS can not be insulted.

GODS are (plural usage connotes different faiths) above divinity and can not be insulted by a man.  How Allah, Christ, Ram, Sita Devi, could be insulted, they being GODS AND GODESSES? When we hear news of insulting or blasphemy acts by some lunatics it is the HUMANS who are insulted not the GODS. The insult is felt for self. Our ego and self esteem would be at stake not the God’s.

In the course of spreading this universal secret, Hinduism evolved with idol worship. The idols are not inert objects but a vibrant force in it, augmenting the idol slowly in to the divinity by our sheer trust.

Hindus visit several temples, several temples dedicated to several deities. An animal, a predator, a tree, a plant, amphibians etc besides Humans. Those who denounce idol worship, those who ridicule idol worship are themselves at one point of time or other would have worshipped some IDOL if not our idol.

Dr Karunanidhi now worshiping the idols of Annadurai,  Mr Karath, Mr Yechuri the idols of MARX. What is the difference is- the contemporary great souls would be tomorrows GODS!.  Yester years Shirdi Baba now to-day’s GOD, and similarly to-day’s Puttaparthi Baba, is tomorrow’s GOD, and to-day’s Gandhi tomorrow’s GOD!

My Grandma narrated me several stories from scriptures. I enjoyed every bit of it. I enjoyed every story told, I enjoyed every event narrated. First it was popular Ramayana with all virtues of family relationships, brotherly affection, monogamy, respecting parents and so on. Later the Mahabharata, where every human emotion, relations, temperaments, jealousy, hatred, revenge, love, affection, and all souped in to one great epic.

Later it was Upanishads where man’s thinking of this great mystic creation and our interpersonal relations and emotions were codified in spiritual format.

Most of the religious beliefs in Hinduism were shaped just to keep this country united, the society to strengthen.

Many religious beliefs of to-day are but an attempt for integration of different communities, protection of environment, flora and fauna, ecosystem and everything in the name of religion. You caution people that

It is GOD, then it will be GOD for ever and protected for ever. The Banyan Tree, The Pipal Tree, The snakes, the Monkeys, the rodents etc.

When my grandma said one who visits Rameswaram at the southern tip of this great Jamboodweepam, should also visit Benaras before his death. This is nothing but to make you travel all parts of India and get to know your own people.

1. What Mr Salman Khan is facing in Rajastan is not just a trial for violating a law that protects the wild life, but it is part of the sentiments of local peoples, for whom the BLACK BUCK is god. Our ancient sages have imparted that fear upon them to protect the wild animals.

Coming back to my early schooling which gave me such a pain was my schooling in a ChristianSchool in Hyderabad. It was MB School, in Mushirabad X Roads. I realized that it was nothing short of fanaticism. I was in my 3^rd standard I remember! We dress up to school in uniform but with our own tilak on our foreheads. This is enough to cause rage in the school children.

The moment I enter in to the school, children use to catch me up at the gate and tore my notebooks the covers of which were with Hindu Gods pictures and wipe our tilak on my fore head. I was once slapped and dragged to church in the precincts. Forcible prayer in churches was usual thing in that school.

I found only this particular school was such a fanatic one but the St Mary School at Secunderabad where I studied my second standard just then, was reasonably different.

Now if I recollect these events I only pity them for their ignorance as my initial hurt and rage has since been turned in to a matured mellowness for that just reason of HINDU UPBRINGING.

Thus, secularism should abridge a mutual trust and respect between Hindus and non-Hindus, but should not end up bashing one community alone for numerical reason. A Hindu should be admired where he should be, particularly by non-Hindus, and visa versa, for a peaceful co-existence.
